Photogenic super model Lars out-smarted a few fish on Thursday as well.

Rough weather made Wednesday a stay-inside day. In an effort to make Lars feel at home, we gambled, smoked and drank while planning crimes of moral terpitude.

Rough weather made Wednesday a stay-inside day. Dariusz took 814 pictures that day, and I signal that he's NUMBER ONE in my book.

Always willing to try new things, we eventually succumbed and had a go with Sands, the other Bahamian beer. After a critical inspection and tasting of a dozen bottles or so, we gave it thumbs up.

After an fairytale like morning of bonefishing, we set out in our wessel to explore new areas. We found some serious tropical rain, a rainbow but not a whole lot more.

The early hours of the day offered many a chance at bonefish, and here's Lars posing with a regular size one, barely visible through a camera lens infested with saltwater and peanut butter.

After lunch bigger bonefish started gracing us with their presence. Lars hooked a real bear with roughly the girth of a volkswagen.
Sadly the camera lens was a soup of saltwater and peanut-butter.

It didn't take long before we had both landed fish this day. The fish was virtually unspookable, the winds were calm and the Kalik were cold. It was a spectacular day.

After lunch bigger bonefish started gracing us with their presence. The fishing gods smiled at me, and I return the favor.
Sadly the camera lens was a soup of saltwater and peanut-butter, but a good eye can still make out the handsome fellow holding a good-sized bone.

After lunch bigger fish started gracing us with their presence. This landing wasn't entirely by the book, as the stubborn bonefish found the only obstackle in a 10 miles radius, but thanks to a freshly changed tippet the large bone was landed without drama after about 600 tu...

After lunch bigger fish started gracing us with their presence. Here I've hooked a fairly nice bonefish that is taking my backing for a ride.

The fish was virtually unspookable, the winds were calm and the Kalik were cold. It was a spectacular day. The biggest problem of the day was to handle the situation of a suddenly appearing bone while just having opened a beer. Oh well, life could be worse I suppose.

After an fairytale morning of bonefishing, I had some motivational problems going after bonefish on the small side. I really didn't care much. Lars caught a few fish, while I focused on foul-hooking fry by the outlet.

Dariusz opted not to go out in the boat again, and spent the day in fetal position at the hotel licking his wounds from yesterday. I did the responsible thing and took the role as bow ballast, which was in fact quite pleasant on this calm day.

After a day of rough seas, shipmate Dariusz woved never again to set foot in a boat. Certain other crewmembers, who shall remain nameless, recognized the comical elements of the boatride, as observed from the rather calm stern of the wessel.
