Take a bow? Bonefishers anonymous? No criticism on Amund's facial features, but the finned torpedo has him beat thoroughly on photogenic colors. The Albula Vulpes a.k.a. bonefish
truly is a magnificent looking fish when the light catches it from the right angle.

A large stingray roamed around the sandbank this morning. It's quite a sight to see it graciously swim through the water, so relaxed and cool. Once spooked it doesn't quite match the speed of a shark or cuda, but it does leave an impressive mud trail.

While normally a group dedicated to the subtle humor of understatements and sarcasm, as the evening evolved and the rum flowed, the bar was lowered to rely more on body-language and unusual accessories for our own entertainment.

Being in the business of selling, buying or operating a simple chair is apparently no joke. As simple Norwegians we couldn't help but to be amused from the written reminder not to set fire to the chair while in it.

First thing's first. Watch the many schools of bonefish circle around while enjoying a morning Kalik. Only thereafter does one venture out on the flat (in this case only to find all the bones gone)..

Can you see the bonefish?
A large school of roughly hundred fish approached Amund and myself, ensuring a double hook-up. They were highly skeptical like everthing else that day, and the first 15 fish rejected the fly, but luckilythere were a couple of hungry ones in the middle.

Follow the leader! On some flats, a lenghty walk was required to hit the fish on low tide. Of course, when heading back, we got to wade thigh deep, which is also a lot of fun, especially at the end of long day.
